Hey guys! I hope I'm using this app correctly, but anyways, I have contacted Senator Sollie Norwood, state senator from District 28 in Jackson, MS, who is willing to answer questions from a state legislative standpoint about the effects of gambling in MS. Also, he has given me contact information for Dr. Royal Walker, who was the first permanent Executive Director of the MS Gaming Commission. Walker says he was there when there was absolutely nothing. I think he'd be a great person for an interview and he has agreed to participate on camera. Both men are located in Jackson, MS. I am meeting with other class members today and once we establish the dates for trips I will post that in the blog in case someone needs to tag along.
